The Enix Corporation (株式会社エニックス, Kabushiki-gaisha Enikkusu) was a Japanese company that produced video games, anime and manga. The company was founded by Yasuhiro Fukushima on September 22, 1975 as Eidansha Boshu Service Center (株式会社営団社募集サービスセンター, Kabushiki Gaisha Eidansha Boshū Sābisu Sentā) and renamed Enix in 1982. The name is a play on the words "phoenix", a mythical bird that is reborn from its own ashes, and "ENIAC", the world's first digital computer. They need to get with it on FF13 and FF13Vs. so I would think they are up to their heads with work at the moment. BTW did you see the CGI movie they made a while back "the spirits within"? That was alright and the graphics were not too shabby. I think the only reason they made the FF7 movie was because it was such a huge success everywhere. I really can't see another game being made into a movie as the only one that would be good (FFX) is already a movie in itself.
