If your not happy with the answers you got, you might want to try this... they now make a laminate floor that looks a lot like tile you could leave the screwed down plywood and go over it with the laminate. then if you have to get to it just remove the molding and threshold piece and the laminate (as long as you don't glue it) will lift out one piece at a time from the last piece installed in. Look under neath and where the arm rests is for any screws. Once you've removed any screws the bottom of the door is held on with plastic fastners called christmas trees, look up plastic christmas tree fastners and you'll see what they look like they just press into a hole and lock. You'll pry up on the bottom of the door to get it lose the slide the panel straight up to gett it out of the window channel. Its really an easy project, and if you break a christmas tree or two no biggie you can go to your local auto parts store and pic some up there real cheap! Good luck! Q. I'm moving into a new apartment in a couple weeks and I really like the place. My bedroom closet is very long (an entire wall of the bedroom is closet and it probably measures about 10-12' long), which is great. The only problem is the closet doors are these really ugly white sliding doors. It would be really expensive to replace the doors with something nicer, plus what would I do with them once I move? I'm thinking of just taking the doors off and using a curtain as a door instead. I think it would look better AND give me more access to my closet.
